Grand Landscapes Collection now Open to the public!

Posted by photographicdesign on August 29, 2008

A photo from last nights private reception for both Amy Thornton and myself, at the Art Emporium.
Amy was showing her fine art Equine photographs and I was showing fine art landscapes.

We had a large turnout, made new friends ( and hopefully collectors!)
The show will be on display until the end of September and is located on the corner of Quarrier and Hale Streets in downtown Charleston.

Shun Kaji Cutlery

Folded Steel Chefs knife by Shun
Folded Steel Chefs knife by Shun

I took this photo last night. I had something in mind using shangtung silk- but the lines needed something less “organic” to bring contrast to the bold lines of the cutlery.
The bottom knife is to be presented to a local chef who is opening a new restaurant here in the valley.

I’ve been interviewed by V100 a top local radio station in the area, as well as the Charleston Daily Mail newspaper! There’s a buzz going on about what we’re up to and even more important- what we’ll come up with ( photographically)

Can’t hardly wait to get started!

See you all there!
