Thoughts as we enter 2009

I just want to share with you these four thoughts as we enter 2009 and close the door on 2008.
Maybe they’ll make a difference in your frame of mind…..maybe not; but I hope 2009 creates a positive change in your life and circumstances
1. Be present.
2. Seek to understand and accept.
3. Be compassionate, and passionate.
4. Do less.

New Years Eve

Last day of 2008- Happy New Year Everybody!!!!

Here’s to the holidays…

We’ll, I’m back to “the grind” on Monday and sorta missing all the family /holiday madness that seems to go on at my house!
The cat broke an antique christmas display ( wife not happy) and the dog broke an antique candy dish ( ME not happy- loss of the candy more than the dish…) ANYWAY – I did enjoy the shopping opportunities after Christmas- shopping therapy some call it- I call it presents for next year!

First of all; Merry Christmas to everyone!
Second- I had a few problems with emails since last night, so if you sent a message to me- I might not have gotten it- I apologize for that, but I didn’t want anyone to think I “snubbed ” them- just resend as you can- problem is fixed!

Tis the holidays……

Hope no one thought I’d went off and disappeared!

It’s the holidays and my busiest time of year! Not complaining or making excuses; but it’s why I haven’t had time to write or even have a coherant thought lately!
Anyway- I’m taking a lunch right now and am able to set down behind my desk- Just setting down feels good!

I’m looking forward to slowing down a bit and shopping for stuff on christmas lists this weekend; watching a movie, working on some more Digital Paintings, and stuff…..

I hope that YOUR holidays allow you time with family and loved ones; and if it doesn’t- then at least be happy in what you do to celebrate!

I’ll write more later; promise!
