A shot from last night as we were testing a new set of studio lights.
It was anything but cold on set, and this mountaineering parka is down filled…….*whew*
One of only Three test shots made….-LOL
BTW: I really would like to photograph iceburgs…..

One more Shun Kaji cutlery photo

Believe it or not, this was one of the most challenging product shots I’ve done in a long time- Everything seemed to reflect something it shouldn’t….
This is one of the chef’s knives from a pair I photographed earlier on this summer- I noticed a lot of interest on this subject. Anyone have suggestions on other cutlery I should take a look at photographing?

I took this photo last night. I had something in mind using shangtung silk- but the lines needed something less “organic” to bring contrast to the bold lines of the cutlery.
The bottom knife is to be presented to a local chef who is opening a new restaurant here in the valley.
