Photowalk T shirt sales raise $5000.00 for the “Springs Of Hope Kenya Orphanage!

I mentioned the t shirts you could buy relating to the Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk last weekend….well, thanks to everyone who bought a “Photowalk T shirt, sales have raised over $5000.00 for the Springs of Hope Kenya Orphanage!

What a great day we had for the “photowalk”! We photographed everything from a Sternwheeler( Belle of Cincinnatti ) docked at the Levee, buildings to people walking around the city!

Charleston Photowalk now full

The Charleston portion of the photowalk is now full— thanks,  and looking forward to meeting all of you on July 18th!!!!!

Charleston Photowalk is FULL-Update

I did a live interview on the radio  with V 100 Morning show with Steve and Jenny this morning…
Apparently a few minutes after their listeners heard the show- The Charleston Photowalk has fillied up! YAY!

FRIDAY NOTES

Gearing up for an exhibit in Charleston West Virginia -July  thru August at the Robert C. Byrd Courthouse.
Will be featuring my digital Paintings of Chrleston from “The Charleston Collection”- Several will be never seen before works that have just been finished exclusively for this exhibit!

ScotT Kelby’s WorldWide Photowalk will be held on July 18th and I’ll once again be leading 50 photographers thru the downtown streets of Charleston WV.

Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk-2009-UPDATED

Last years Worldwide Photowalk Group

Today’s it’s official, as we announce the date for Scott Kelby’s 2nd Annual Worldwide PhotoWalk™ to celebrate the upcoming release of “The Digital Photography Book, Volume 3,” and you’re invited to be a part of this global, social photography event.

I’ll be leading a group of 50 photographers around the City of Charleston as part of this worldwide event. Last year we actually had MORE than 50 show up- and that’s kinda cool too! ( But only the first 50 that sign up are eligible for prizes)

When: Saturday, July 18, 2009
Where: Charleston WV – and I’m working out a couple of details as toi where we meet- this will be on my Official “City page” here.
How long does it last: Two hours, from start to finish.

This is a free event- and I’ll be posting more details soon!

Art Walk in Charleston and the Photowalk on display

Here are some of the “Worldwide Photowalk-Charleston” images on display at the Art Emporium Gallery.
Participants went on the Photowalk with me in Charleston last September,  Photo Production Services supplied 8×10 prints, and Art Emporium supplied the matting and display space.

This was taken last night at the Charleston Art Walk.

Also in attendance was my good ffriend and fellow artist; Bruce K. Haley .- who will probably shoot me for yelling “Hey Bruce” and snapping his picture when he turned around……( Hey ANY publicity’s Good publicity, right?)
Bruce was one who has encouraged me from the start- I owe him… a lot actually……

Photowalk WV- Photos now on display!

Hey – Great news!

Tracy from Art Emporium contacted me the other day to let everyone  know that the photos we took in Charleston WV- for the “Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk”  -Are now on display!

The photos will be on display til March 31st, 2009 ; at the Art Emporium located  at 823 Quarrier Street Charleston, West Virginia 25301

Photographic Production Services donated the prints and the Art Emporium Matted and hung them- I personally Thank them  for their sponsorship for this great event   !! !
