Sometimes it’s the “little “things that make you happy- Take this flash drive for instance. Yes, it’s a promo peice for some of my upcoming workshops and such- but it’s the first flashdrive I’ve ever gave out with MY logo on it!
The thing is…..It’s just kinda “cool”! I’ve wanted to do a product like this for a while, getting my name in the hands of my great clients on something that I know they are gonna use!
Truth is, in the past these little babies have been a little pricey for me and didn’t justify the bulk expense as a vanity piece of promotional packaging. that is, until I found out about photoflashdrive.com
I want to be upfront about this- I do NOT get any free swag or kickbacks from Photoflash- I don’t even care if you mention my name as the person who sent you- what I DO care about is the product and service I received today from them. It was what I expected and then some. I ended up needeing them a little sooner than expected from the shipping date they had- They worked with me to get it here ASAP- with no groaning on the other end of the phone-BONUS!
So….what have we learned here today? Flashdrives are cool, and they are even cooler with my logo on them. 🙂
( Almost like seeing your name in lights- but without the electricity bill….)
I just wanted to post something Green today……Getting tired of Winter!
I hope everyone had a great New Years with family and friends- I know I did!
Each year I reflect back on the previous one and think about what I could do better, any changes I could’ve made, did I reach my goals, etc.. and for the most part- even with the economy downturn- I had a good year; not a great one ,but good. ( FYI:Sucess isn’t always about money either)
One of the things I gave a lot of thought about business wise was contracting a third party to design me a new website. I’m happy to say that the website is almost complete and will be in addition to my www.claytonspangler.com website. The difference will be that I now have another domain being set up called spanglerstudio.com– this will focus more on my professional and commercial work, whereas claytonspangler.com will be reserved for online shopping and creative/artistic endeavors.
The reason for having two websites is that I am growing as an artist as well as a photographer- but I have to market to different segments to be sucessful in either one. I hope I’ve done this in such a way that will make sense and enhance your interactive experience with me online.( The blog, by the way, will remain the same- I’m liking the power of wordpress)
In many ways- it’s like having twins- they are still your kids, but they often have two distinct personalities! LOL
I’ll update everyone here when it comes online……..
